CD&MD model electric wire rope hoist is a type of light-duty lifting equipment with features such as a compact structure, light weight, small volume, wide application, and simple operation. Reducers with hard gear surfaces are used, resulting in long life and high mechanical efficiency. Conic rotor brake motors have a safety limiter in both the up and down directions.

MD model wire rope electric hoist has normal and slow lifting speeds, allowing it to lift steadily and precisely.

CD&MD electric wire rope hoists are widely used to lift heavy objects; they are installed on straight or curved I-section steel beams, single girder overhead cranes, or single girder gantry cranes. They can also be used in conjunction with double girder gantry cranes, double girder overhead cranes, and jib cranes. All of this has led to the widespread use of electric hoists in industrial and mining operations, railways, wharves, and warehouses.

Main parts and components of cd/md electric wire rope hoist

Three basic components of the cd/md wire rope hoist are the lifting mechanism, the traveling mechanism, and the electric devices.

MOTORS: We provide squirrel cage induction motors that conform to IS 325 for hoist and crane applications. These motors have better starting torque and comparative horsepower, which shorten handling times. It is flange mounted and has Class B or F insulation in accordance with our design.
GEARBOX: For smooth, trouble-free operation and a longer lifespan, a fully enclosed oil splash lubricated and dust-free gearbox is offered. To achieve greater precision, all gears are helical in shape and made of alloy or low carbon steel on hobbing machines. A unique gear toughening technique also guarantees the drive system will operate quietly and without interruption. Anti-friction bearings support the pinions and gears at both ends.
ROPE DRUM: The rope drum is precisely machined and grooved to guarantee that wire rope is properly seated in the appropriate layer. Two heavy-duty ball and roller bearings are installed in the drum for a smoother operation and longer life.
ROPE GUIDE: Made of superior close grain castings, the rope guide is precisely machined to fit the grooves of the rope drum and guards against the rope overriding and loosening. Additionally, it activates the safety feature limit switch, which prevents the hook from being raised or lowered excessively. The guide's purpose is to guarantee that the rope is properly tensioned.

Applications of CD MD electric wire rope hoists

CD1/MD1 electric hoist is small-sized lifting equipment, which can be mounted on single girder suspension crane, bridge crane, gantry crane and jib cranes. With slight modification, it can also be used as a winch.
