Main Types of Crane Designs

A Top running single girder bridge crane design
is the most common type of overhead  crane. It's a multi-purpose bridge crane that may be used in a range of sectors.Top-running single-girder crane capacity typically range from 5 to 10 tons. 

A top running double girder bridge crane design
is identical to a top running single girder crane, but with an extra bridge beam. The addition of the girder boosts the capacity to 30 tons, 50 ton up to 80 ton.  

Underhung single girder overhead crane design
The most frequent form of bridge crane for low lifting capacity is an under hung single girder bridge crane (also known as an under running crane). These cranes are most popular in high-production rate facilities and assembly plants because they are one of the most cost-effective types of bridge cranes.

Under hung double girder bridge crane design
