More detail communication on 20 ton double girder overhead crane

Question 1： As I understand it, the length of the crane will not fit in a 40-foot container, am I right? If so, then we are ready to consider the length of the crane 11 - 11.5 meters, so as not to cut the crane.

Answers: Yes, the length of 40-foot container is 11.8m, 12m is too long to fit in. 11.5m is ok, and don't need to cut the main girder.

Question 2：Are rails included in the cost of the crane? we need 24m from either side, and that is 48 meters.

Answers: Rails and busbar price are not included as we don't know the length. Will add it in the quotation.

Question 3：Where do you want to install the second hook with a load capacity of 5 tons? Is it possible to use them simultaneously and is it possible to adjust the height of the lift independently of each other?

Answers: For the quoted 20/5ton crane, the 5ton and 20ton hoists are installed on one trolley, pls check the attached picture for better understanding. It can be used simultaneously and can adjust the height of the lift independently of each other.

If you want to use the two hook to lift one goods, you have to pay attention to the max. goods weight shall be no more than 10ton. To avoid overload of the small hook.

If you want to lift longer goods with two hook and also can work separately, we suggest to use the double trolley model like the picture in your last email.

For the crane capacity, if the max. goods weight is 20ton, we suggest to use 10ton+10ton double trolley overhead crane. It can work separately, also synchronous.

S : May I know when will you complete the construction of the hangar? And when will you plan to install the overhead crane?

A: Hangar, currently under construction.

We will install the crane after the supporting iron structures are ready.

Now we intend to buy a crane from you with your good discount. Time for production and transportation will take some time. By the time the crane is delivered to Turkmenistan, we will have time to prepare the structure for it.

On loading into containers

The customer also purchased a compressorfrom other manufacturer and wanted toloadit in the same container of the20 ton / 5 ton overhead crane for shipping to Turkmenistan.

After verifyingthe dimensions of the compressor , our engineer calculated and confirmed that there is no problem with the sizeandit can be loaded into the container. However, when the production of the 20 ton / 5 ton overhead crane isalmost completed, the customer changes the compressor supplierand the dimensions of the compressor haschanged.

Then, here comes the problems of loading it into the containers without expanding the cost.

The compressor (3120*1630*2300mm)width is 1630mm,

our main beam (11800*500*930mm) width is 500mm for each piece, one of them will be welded with walkway and the width will be 1030mm.

To fit in the container, we will not weld the walkway on the beam, it has to overlay the two main beams together, then the width will fit.

But there is a problem, as the width is too narrow, if overlay the two main beams, it might be fall to the compressor if the road is rough during transportation, you need to find some strong steel bar or similar to support the beams and also fixed it very tight.

Pls consider and confirm asap. whether you will put the compressor together or not, so that we could know whether weld the walkway on the main beam or not.”

Solution on loading into container

How to load your overhead cranes and other product into container. With years of experience, Yuantai Crane have provided the following solution for clients to ensure transportation safety and at same time without expand the transportation cost.

1. Detachable walking platform

If the main beam and the walking platform are welded together, it will be too wide and the container space is not enoughdue to the adjustment sizes of the compressor. If the walking platform is detachable, it can fit into container well.

2. Stacking the two main beams

The twomain beam needs to be stacked. The middle of the two main beams should be separated by a lining plate, and the two ends should be tightened with angle iron, and the upper main beam can be lifted with a sling to appropriately reduce the force.

Due to themain beams are stacking together, there are risk that if the road is bumpy, the port crane container will shake violently, and the main beam may have a chance to fall over and hit the goods next to it, which needs safe fastening to solve the problem.

3. Remove the trolley

The trolley frame and the hoist are separated, and the customer assembles it on site
