Timeline and story
- November 15, Yuantai Crane received electric chain hoist inquiry from Panama client, "hi we need a 3-5 tone with a 15 meter chain".
- November 16, Julia (sales executive) sent the quotation and drawing of 3 ton electric chain hoist with electric trolley to client, but no reply.
- November 17, They connected on WhatsApp. Client checked email, confirmed what he need was a fixed type electric chain hoist, not with a moving motor, just with a hook. And also confirmed the ship port. An hour later, Julia revised the quotation. "That's good, i will confirm on Thursday." Panama client said.
- November 20, Client did not confirm, he needed more time.
- November 26, "Hi, how long will it arrive Panama?", "About 33 days by sea, production time is about 10-15 days. We are responsible for shipping the electric hoist to Panama port. You need to find a freight forwarder to handle the subsequent customs clearance and other matters". Client said he had a cooperative freight forwarder in Yiwu, China, we just need to delivery the hoist to Yiwu.
- November 27, Julia contacted the person Sandy who was in charge of the subsequent transportation. And sent PI and payment instructions to Client.
- December 1, Waiting for the customer to arrange payment
- December 2, Client confirmed the hoist speed and voltage again, but he want a faster motor which can reach 4m/min.
- December 4, Confirmed with engineer, Julia suggested client to choose 3 ton electric chain hoist with 6.4m/min speed. "that might be better, send me the specific of that one please. I will confirm tomorrow".
- December 10, Client confirmed the PI and make the payment.
Now, we are producing the electric chain hoist, and will delivery it on time to Yiwu.
