The working principle of electric hoist

Electric hoists are divided into wire rope electric hoists and chain electric hoists, and are divided into single speed and double speed. The two-speed type is often used for lifting and transporting molten alloy casting or casting molds and sand boxes. The hoisting mechanism of the wire rope electric hoist is driven by the motor to complete the hoisting work.

   Electric hoist is a kind of light and small lifting equipment that is started by electricity, with small structure size, light weight, convenient and flexible operation. It is mostly used in a working environment that does not require a wide range of work or does not require high work speed.
   wire rope electric hoist is usually installed on a track with a certain span and height to form an electric monorail crane. The type and span of the track vary according to the work needs and the lifting capacity of the electric hoist.
  The electric rewinding chain is composed of an electromagnetic brake, a lifting motor, a hook, a reel, a steel light rope, and a gear transmission mechanism. The electric monorail crane is also composed of rails, rollers and horizontal walking motors. The motor usually uses a three-phase power supply and a cone-shaped rotor motor with a cone brake or a magnetic bypass motor to provide the operating force of the hoist to lift or move horizontally. In addition, a switch handle equipped with lifting and walking buttons is hung from the lower part of the suspension cable to implement ground control. The motor installed on one side of the reel is connected to the reduction gear installed on the other side of the reel through an elastic coupling. A cone brake is installed on the fan shaft at the end of the motor. After the motor conducts electricity, the rotor is subjected to the magnetic force on the shaft to restrain the load of the spring and make it move to the left. The conical brake fixed on the rotor shaft is disengaged from the rear cover of the motor. The cone brake on the upper side moves to the right, and is in close contact with the rear cover of the motor, and the friction torque generated stops the motor
