Overhead Crane Attachments, Types of Crane Spreaders

Services

The equipment for lifting heavy objects with an overhead crane or gantry crane is called crane attachments. Crane hooks, wire ropes, and chains are the most often used ringings and slings. To increase productivity, electromagnet, clamps, and grabs can be used as specialized crane spreaders permanently and momentarily as interchangeable auxiliary spreaders on hooks. The typical spreader for acquiring bulk items is a grab bucket with movable jaws, however electromagnetic absorption can also be employed to take in magnetically conducting materials like metal chips.

The crane spreaders mainly include chain spreaders, clamp spreaders, electromagnetic, grab bucket, C hook, and crane tong and clamp, etc.

C-Hook Spreader

Steel mills, cold-rolled sheet production and processing enterprises, storage and transportation warehouses, and other workplaces that use horizontal steel coils all require C-hook spreaders.

hook spreaders are commonly used to lift steel coils, aluminum coils, copper coils, wire rods, and other coils. C-hook spreaders are classified as veneer type (used in machine slot), I type, box type, and cylindrical type (Apply to wire hoisting). The C-hook spreader can include protection measures, such as rubber, nylon board, aluminum board, polyurethane, rubber pad, and more, at the point where the spreader and the objects to be raised come into contact.

Clamp Spreader

A clamp spreader is a clamping, fastening, or hoisting tool. It is widely used in industries such as metallurgy, transportation, railways, ports, and others.

Container Spreader

A container spreader is a type of spreader designed specifically for loading and unloading containers. It is connected to the container's top corner fittings via twist locks at the four corners of the beam at the end, and the driver controls the opening and closing of the twist locks to perform container loading and unloading operations.

Clamp Spreader

The clamp spreader can hold sleeves, steel coils, coils, and other cylindrical bodies. With rotatary design, the crane clamp spreader can be freely rotated between 0 and 270 degrees. The clamp height and opening can be determined by the steel coil parameters (inner diameter, outer diameter, length).

Electric clamp spreaders are mainly consisted of rotating lifting lug, clamp leg, clamp leg drive system, electrical and electrical control system, cable reel and other parts.

The clamp's expansion and contraction are primarily completed by the rack and pinion transmission principle, which has a compact structure, accurate load clamping, easy operation, high efficiency, safety and reliability, and broad applicability.

Electromagnet

Crane electromagnets are useful for moving ingots, steel balls, and various steel chips. Round lifting magnets can continuously handle waste throughout the day. It is used to lift and transport steel parts, forgings, castings, plates, booms, channels, angles, bars, and rods in metal fabrication plants. The crane attachment will save your production time and operation effort by lifting steel more quickly and easily than the mechanical device.

Grab Bucket

A grab bucket is a special lifting devices or grab devices used by overhead crane or gantry cranes to pick up bulk cargo. The container space is made up of two or more bucket-shaped jaws that can open and close. When loading, the jaws in the material pile close, catching the material in the container space. When unloading, the jaws are in the material pile. The material is scattered on the material pile after it is opened in a suspended state. The wire rope of the crane hoisting mechanism controls the opening and closing of the jaw plate.

The operation of a grab bucket spreader does not require heavy manual labor, allowing for high loading and unloading efficiency while also ensuring safety. It is the primary crane spreader for handling dry bulk cargo in ports. It is classified into ore grabs, coal grabs, grain grabs, timber grabs, and so on based on the type of cargo that will be handle.

Ladle Spreader

Ladle spreaders are primarily used in steel plants to hoist tundishes, molten iron tanks, and ladles. It has the benefits of a simple structure, easy operation, safety, and dependability. The beam body is made of high-quality low-carbon alloy steel that is both strong and resistant to heat. Steel plate, which is both strong and flexible, is used to splice and rivet the hook body. Simultaneously, the hook body can freely rotate from front to back, left to right, making it easy to hook.

Rotate Lifting Beam

The rotate lifting beam is appropriate for loading, unloading, and handling steel plate, section steel, coil, and other materials in indoor or outdoor fixed spans such as a steel factory, storage yard, or storage. It is particularly suited to lifting occasions with varying specifications and horizontal rotation. Under the lifting beam, special slings such as electromagnetic and clamps can be carried.

Vacuum Lifter

A vacuum suction cup is one of the vacuum equipment's actuators. The suction cup material is nitrile rubber with a high breaking force. As a result, it is widely used in various vacuum suction equipment, such as construction, paper, printing, glass, and other industries, to accomplish the task of absorbing and transporting thin and light articles such as glass and paper. A vacuum suction cup is also referred to as a vacuum spreader or a vacuum suction nozzle. In general, using a vacuum suction cup to grasp products is the least expensive method.
